Creative Projects

Below are a few pieces from my personal portfolio as well as from my Masters course studies portfolio.

BABY SHOWER INVITATIONS

This baby shower invitation was created for a client whose theme were owls. I created this piece using Adobe Illustrator while utilizing tools such as the Pen Tool, Shape Tools, Pathfinder, as well as Clipping Mask. The time frame given for this project was very slim, 2 days so there were some time restraints included but everything was finished by the designated time. I took this project on from concept to finished. The client, as well as her guest, were very impressed.

CAREER EVENT FLYER

I created this flyer for IAAP Texas/Louisiana Branch as they are hosting an Administrative Professionals conference. This flyer was created to showcase the speakers, their topics, as well as the sponsors for this conference. I used both Adobe Illustrator as well as Photoshop as I created this flyer.

FAB DALLAS MAGAZINE

This magazine cover, as well as articles and layouts throughout the magazine, were created as I was the Creative Director of FAB Dallas Magazine. FAB Dallas Magazine focused mainly on fashion, art, as well as beauty. I worked on a team of publishers, editors, photographers, writers, models, designers, stylists, artists, amongst other contributors. REAL ESTATE LOGO DESIGN

This logo was created a for real estate agent looking to create a brand that draws her customers in while showing the elegance and quality of her homes. I created this logo in Adobe Illustrator using mostly the Pen Tool. We changed up the style of the house a few times until we came across a design that stood out the most. A lot of positive feedback has been given on her brand.

BEAUTY BUSINESS CARD DESIGN

This business card and logo were created for a client who was starting a makeup business. The goal of the project was to stay within the current trends while creating a look that will last over time. I used both Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop throughout this project to create the effect of the eyes and the smudged paint.

PHOTOGRAPHER LOGO

This logo was created for a Photographer who wanted to integrate his video editing into his logo. The concept was provided by the client who had drawn out a few sketches for the look he was going for. I took the sketches and combined a couple of his ideas into one. I used Adobe Illustrator to complete the logo design.

WEDDING INVITATION SUITE

I created this wedding suite for a client whom wanted an elegant theme with a personalized logo printed on the front of the pocket fold. This invitations, symbols, logo, as well as the embellishments, were created in Adobe Illustrator. I created this project from conception to finish while meeting with the clients periodically throughout the time, keeping them updated on the status as well as changes.

I used Adobe Photoshop and InDesgin to create these posters. My Practicum of Graphic Design Seniors did the photography for each Senior. We placed the students acceptance letters onto the posters.
